Follow a step-by-step process to create a striking pet portrait from a photo in this fun, friendly workshop - perfect as a handmade gift or simply for the joy of making! You will need to bring a photo to refer to - we'll be working on linocuts that are 15 x 20 cm. All skill levels welcome.

About the event
During this fun one-day workshop, you'll be guided step by step through the process of designing, cutting, and printing a monochrome linocut or card collagraph of an animal of your choice.
Using a photo reference, you’ll be invited to trace, draw, or collage to develop your image before transferring your design onto a print block. You’ll then carve and print your artwork, experimenting with inking techniques to capture the texture of fur, feathers, or scales.
This is a relaxed, friendly workshop that’s perfect for creating a bold and loveable relief print - ideal as a handmade gift or personal keepsake. You'll also take away the skills to continue printing at home.
Your printed image will be 15 x 20 cm, and it will be useful to bring a photo that matches this size if possible.
All materials are provided, including a window mount and cellophane bag for easy gift presentation.
Suitable for all skill levels.

General Admission
Includes the workshop fee, all materials, plus complementary tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day. Please bring a reference photo and if you would like to trace it, make sure it's A6 size. There is a fridge where you can keep a packed lunch, alternatively there is a cafe a short drive away. There is free parking at the studio.
